Business Incentives

On Thursday, March 3rd, 2022 the Government of Canada announced the full launch and opening of the Canada Digital Adoption Program (CDAP). $1.4 billion is available in grants and advisory services to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to help Canadian businesses to stay competitive and grow. $4 billion in total funding is available to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to help cover the cost of implementing digital transformation plans. There is up to $2.6 billion in interest-free loans from the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) to help cover the cost of implementing digital transformation plans.

Do you Qualify for Funding?

The Boost Your Business Technology grant offers support to Canadian-owned small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) who want to adopt new digital technologies. In order to qualify for the grant, the Government of Canada has outlined the following four criteria: 

  1. Be incorporated federally or provincially, or be a Canadian resident sole proprietor 

  2. Be a for-profit, privately owned business 

  3. Have between 1 – 499 full time equivalent employees 

  4. Have at least $500,000 of annual revenues in one of the previous three tax years
